The Loft
Is Ideal For…

Space Maximizers

The Loft squeezes every square foot. Bed raised during the day gives full standing height and a true living room — lower it at night.

Full-Time Travelers

If you plan to spend extended time in your van, the added living space of the Loft makes it feel like a genuine home on wheels.

Tech Enthusiasts

The electric lift system is smooth, reliable, and genuinely impressive. If you want the premium van experience, this is the layout for you.

Couples Who Work Remotely

Work at the lounge table during the day, lower the bed at night. The Loft is built for people who live and work from their van.

Step 03

Configure the Lift Bed

The electric lift bed is the defining feature — it rises at the touch of a button to reveal a full lounge below.

Standard Lift System

Electric actuator system, full-size memory foam mattress, quiet operation.

North-South Orientation (Upgrade · Extended vans only)

Available on Sprinter 170", Transit 148 EXT, and ProMaster 159 EXT only · Best for travelers who get up frequently at night — step out from either side without disturbing a partner

Your Cabinet Structure.

Every Loft is built around a modular cabinetry system designed for life on the road. Click any section to learn what's included.

Every Sequoia + Salt conversion begins with our durable cabinetry construction system designed for life on the road.

  • Baltic birch cabinet structure
  • Overlay cabinet face construction
  • Wilsonart laminate cabinet faces
  • Soft-close hinges and drawer slides
  • Matte black cabinet hardware
  • Structural mounting to vehicle frame

Upgrade options such as premium cabinet finishes and furniture-grade inset cabinetry are available during your design consultation.

Every Loft is built on a fixed cabinet structure. Your van platform determines the dimensions — the widths never change. You choose how the interior of each space functions.

Passenger Side Galley

Standard wheelbase (Sprinter 144, Transit 148, ProMaster 159): Always 34" wide. Interior configured as 18" sink base + 16" door with adjustable shelving.

Extended wheelbase (Sprinter 170, Transit 148 EXT, ProMaster 159 EXT): Always 58" wide. Interior configured as 18" sink base + 16" 3-drawer + 24" door with adjustable shelving.

Driver Side

Standard wheelbase: Always 56" wide. Houses the electric lift bed mechanism, 85L drawer fridge, and lower lounge seating area beneath the raised platform.

Extended wheelbase: Always 78" wide with expanded lower lounge and additional storage options. A 34" enclosed shower can be added — this deducts from the 78" allotment and adjusts the remaining cabinet configuration.

Overhead Cabinets

Standard wheelbase: Passenger side 31" · Integrated around lift bed mechanism on driver side

Extended wheelbase: Passenger side 55" · Driver side 78" (adjusts if shower is added)

Electric Lift Bed

Full-size platform raises and lowers quietly via electric motor. When raised, the full lounge beneath is accessible. When lowered, you have a dedicated sleeping area above the living space.

The structure is fixed. The interior orientation is yours to choose — confirmed during your build consultation.

A full galley system designed for everyday travel and off-grid use.

  • Stainless steel sink basin
  • Kitchen faucet
  • Integrated galley plumbing
  • 85L drawer fridge — upgrade available within cabinet opening
  • Countertop workspace
  • Drawer storage

Upgrades available: larger refrigerators, dual burner induction cooktops, microwaves, expanded countertop systems.

The Loft maximizes practical storage throughout the van.

  • Lower cabinetry storage
  • Overhead cabinet storage integrated around lift
  • Under-bed storage when platform is raised
  • Kitchen drawer storage

Additional upgrades: wardrobe cabinets, pantry storage, gear drawers, and specialty equipment storage — customized to how you use your van.

Standard: Full lounge seating below the raised lift bed platform — the defining feature of The Loft.

  • Additional passenger travel seating
